Subject: New Pom Owner

I have a quick question for anyone who might know. We recently
bought our 1st pom. She is a solid black little girl and is just a
riot! I used to have a Schipperke that passed away and we decided
to go with a Pom this time. She is independant just like our Schip
was and sassy. We sit and laugh at her constantly. We do have a
lab that I let in as well. She absolutely loves him and wants to
play with him constantly. I really have to watch them closely. We
have been pondering if we wanted to add another Pom to our home to
be her playmate. Right now she is 8wks old and the breeder we
purchased her from has a solid cream male that is 7 weeks. It would
be hard raising two pups at the same time I am sure! What I want to
know is if we did do this....would she become more his dog and not
so much ours?? Right now she is very people oriented and follows us
everywhere. Would that change or would they both just be pals but
still be "our" babies. I don't want her to become less involved
with us. So I guess I am asking if we added him to our home, how
would it affect her relationship with us??? Right now we are a fam
of four qand we all fight over her. Espcially my husband and I. He
is always taking her from me!

I also wanted to know if Poms like water? Our Schip used to go
boating with us all the time and loved it. I know Poms like to
travel, wasn't sure about boating and swimming!
