If you're raised like a plum you'll never feel like a strawberry... or whatever. The thing is, you can't expect a town boy to feel like a city kid. It's just not the same. Sexuality IS influenced by where you live, too.

We discussed before about how some sexual encounters that happened to me could never happen to you, because the US is just so socially repressed. I think that's true to a degree, the Netherlands is a much more friendly place to be gay or bi or anything than, say, Biblebelt Central, USA. Careful, that's not to say it changes how you feel - but it will change how you act. A kid from there is going to carry around more emotional luggage than a kid from here, where we had a 'youth boat' last Gay Pride in Amsterdam with out and proud kids below 16 showing themselves to the tourists. Scantily clad? I cannot tell, I wasn't there.
I mentioned BRAVO magazine before. This German teen mag has a sex ed section each week and each week, they find a different teen boy and girl to pose totally nude. Full frontal. Sometimes the boys have given their penises a tug so they look slightly bigger. Sometimes they clearly have a semi. Now, imagine THAT in the USA. Got it? Now try to imagine the protests. Scared yet?

See what I mean? It's gonna matter. Ask around about sexuality in Zimbabwe. It's gonna matter.
