Many of you know from me being in the chat that I am pretty open and have somewhat of a sliding moral scale. For example, I would not care if I was "the other boy" but I would never date the person simply because they were cheating on their boyfriend with me and I simply wouldn't trust them after that.


I would NEVER cheat on my boyfriend. Once I tell someone that I won't do that I won't. I also expect the same from them. Cheating is never acceptable. There are no circumstances that you didn't put yourself there in the first place. No, "It's you that I love! They were just fun." No excuses. Cheating is the worst violation of trust that you can do. Once someone has my heart, they are the ONLY one to have it and my body.


I also think it has to do with when I give someone my word or promise them something, I try to keep that promise no matter what. I hesitate to give it if I don't know that I can keep it. I think, for the most part at least, that most people when entering a relationship unless discussed, expect it to be monogamous. And by saying "I do" to the relationship, you are promising that person that you will be faithful. With my skewed moral compass, that tends to be pretty firmly anchored at north.
