Him not dedicating the whole of his time to writing stuff for the Shack and spending every second of his free time only working for "us", the readers, so to speak, lol. His retirement is more for him to take time for himself, work on his other projects (I think he has other stuff he's working on, if memory serves) but he still writes for his readers here and everywhere else on the world wide web. I think that's why the updates are so long in-between for certain stories. Before, I think he updated very regularly "New Kid" and "GFD" etc, because he spent all of his free time on them.

I'm glad he hasn't stopped but he writes lots of quality things. His stories are sweet and have a positivity about them. It's like reading fairytales, sort of. For me at least. It's a sugar fix, lol. Though some 'details' in his some of his stories make me '>.<' but apart from that, his writing is always excellent. :)
