Subject: Cover songs rarely ever live up to the original...

Thanks to Cosmie, who recommended 'Big Mouth', which I've watched the first several episodes of, I heard this cover song by soul singer Charles Bradley, of the metal band, Black Sabbath's "changes". A song I've long loved. Charles' cover version is used as Big Mouth's intro.

The two versions couldn't be any more different. But they're both really great songs.

Charles' version is a soul / funk / R&B take on the metal band's classic.
It gets a 5/5 from me. I'm not really a fan of modern hip hop / R&B, but I do like classic R&B (Motown and the like) as well as funk and some soul.

Charles also died a couple of weeks ago. It's unfortunate that I hadn't heard of the guy before his death.
