This week's 3M breaks the idea of teen paranoia in two!

"Super Dark Times"

I'll keep this short, because I haven't had internet all morning/afternoon and it's thrown me off schedule. But, "Super Dark Times" is a movie that I liked a lot, and parts of it surprised me. Very rare.

It begins with a group of high school students who are hanging out together. Not the most popular kids in school, but they've got their own warped sense of bonding and that's good enough. Then...one day the four of them decide to go out to a secluded area, unsupervised, and play with a SWORD! What could go wrong, right?

Well, everything goes horribly wrong!

From that point, you get to see the boys try to cover up the events of that fateful day, dealing with nightmares, paranoia, fear, and regret. Superbly acted by all of the people involved, you really get sucked into the whole story. And this movie goes to darker places that movies like "Stand By Me" and "Mean Creek" couldn't really go to. So check out this thriller when you get a chance! And enjoy! :)
