May 1 is celebrated by the American legal community as a day to to honor the principle of rule of law. Toward the end of the conversation, reporters and attendees were invited to ask questions. The most important question I heard was the last question of the session. It was from a high school student. She asked how we can determine what news is real and what is false. Rosenstein's answer is the best one I have ever heard. If anything, I would add to not take anything for granted. As A.A. Dornfeld, head of the now-defunct City News Bureau in Chicago for more than 40 years, was often heard to repeat,
"If your mother says she loves you, CHECK IT OUT!"
The last question can be found at 56:41, although I encourage you to listen to the entire interview. This recording leaves a bit to be desired as far as sound quality goes, but the complete recording can also be found at C-Span. The question at C-Span starts at 53:50.
