...And that last question, THAT'S the perfect word that I was looking for! 'Skeptical'! Be skeptical. Whether we believe something or not has nothing to do with it being true. Where is the news coming from? Who put it out there? What is their agenda? "The Big Mac is the best burger on the planet!" Really? Says who?
The CEO of McDonald's.
Well...that's not a very credible source to be making that claim, now is it? Why listen to that? Of course that's what he's going to say because he personally benefits from having people believe that. So I loved the way he explained it. And I agree...'broaden' your reading. One source might be biased. Two sources might be conflicting. But five or six sources? ALL of them are not lying, or biased, or pushing an agenda. They're reporting on the facts they were given. What do they have in common? What's quoted word for word? What sources are 'they' using? Everything isn't fake news simply because it's not what we want to hear. That's insanity.
Why would anyone choose to live in a world full of lies and delusion?
