Ok, so the mandela effect is a phenomenon where you remember things differently than they actually happened. It's named after Nelson Mandela. Many people remembered him dying in prison in South Africa in the 80s, when in reality, he'd been set free long ago, and even became president of South Africa before he died in late 2013.

ANOTHER example is where my reference comes in. The Kazaam/Shazaam Mandela Effect, where people remember distinctly that Sinbad the actor played a genie character named "Shazaam" in a kids movie in the '90s, which he did not do. There WAS however, a movie called Kazaam, the lead character being a genie, played by former basketgball superstar Shaquille O'neal.

THUS, now that there's an ACTUAL movie called Shazam, it's only going to complicate this whole shit show of a Mandela Effect. :-p
