Subject: Black Miorror finally returns this week.

After a long hiatus. I was worried the show was even finished at one point.

Apparently they weren't sure viewers would be interested in watching something a little dystopian, given the current shit show that seems to be happening around the world. Despots, insurrections, wars, pandemics.

All the things that have happened since the last season came out.

But I love this show. There's nothing quite like it. I guess the closest it comes to is The Twilight Zone.

It's an anthology series. Each episode is fresh off the cloth, and comes with an entirely new cast. The stories can be bizarre, sad, twisted, or even heartwarming ("San Junipero")

But they all make you think and question long held assumptions that you take for granted.

There's also a list of special guests, which I am less excited about, or even know who most of them are.
I care more about the plot than putting in some famous athlete or singer to gain viewers, like they did with Miley Cyrus in the last season.

Most of all I am excited to have my mind blown by something on TV again. It's been too long.

I've also been re-watching Young Sheldon again recently.
And it made me realise how likeable pretty much the whole cast is.
I can't remember the last time I felt that way about the show. I forgot how young Ian and Raegan were at the beginning of the show, as well. Just adorable.
