I think the newer shows just kind of 'feel' different, for some odd reason. Especially with the witty humor and stuff. And Star Trek always had some humor in it, but in the last few shows (Granted, I haven't seen Picard yet either)...it felt more like a sitcom than Star Trek.

I'm always up to give a new show a shot though. Loved the original, REALLY loved The Next Generation, and I watched a few sprinkled episodes of Voyager and Deep Space Nine, but I think that's about it. Discovery has a PHENOMENAL cast though, i just haven't seen it yet. I'm not sure why.

Anyway, looking forward to it!
