Realistically, I probably wouldn't have much of a chance of surviving for long, but I'd probably get some info from the net about how to survive in the wilderness.

I live really close to the Scottish Highlands, with ten thousand square miles of mountainous landscape away from populated areas, within walking distance of where I live.

Assuming I could become a hunter and build my own house, I could probably survive out there for who knows how long. There's tons of fresh water too.

Ironically, I've been daydreaming about doing something like this (or finding a desert island, etc), myself recently. I am so fed up and just 'done with' the rest of my species, I would seriously move universes just to get away from them. Not that all individuals are bad, I just mean in general, it feels like the good guys are such a minority, when you take out all the bigots, the greedy sociopaths and other nasties. I think we're fibbing ourselves when we say "most people are genuinely good." We're not, unless your standard of being "good" is, they won't kill you.

Give me about five thousand decent books, unlimited food and water, and enough gout medicine to last me 50 years, (hate being reliant on medication), and I'd be good to go :P
