Subject: Sadly my family has never been that close

Last decade or so Xmas has been me, my mum, my dad and his sister and we always go out for Lunch on Xamas day. My Aunt might come down night before and then go back after lunch but usually she will meet us at the p/restaurant.
Before my Mum's mum died we used to have her stay with my folks and id join them.
Unfortunately not seen my cousins in a long time.. My oldest cousin's son was 5 when last saw them, he is now 21.
I think America does the whole getting together thing allot more and better than us Brits!
