This week's 3M ALMOST makes me wonder what could have been when it came to the 'Monster-Verse'! Hehehe!

"The Invisible Man (2020)"

As some of you may know, and some may not...there was supposed to be this big 'Monster-Verse' to be set up by Universal a few years back. Unfortunately it fell apart before it even got started. There was "Dracula Untold", and Tom Cruise's "The Mummy", and...that was it. Even with big name actors signing up to be a part of the project. Angelina Jolie as Bride of Frankenstein, Javier Bardem as the Wolfman (I think), Russell Crowe as Dr. Jekyll...and one that sounded cool was Johnny Depp as the Invisible Man.

Well, none of that ever happened. BUT, even without Johnny Depp, this brand new take on the Invisible Man was actually quite a dark surprise for me. I think I started watching it just to have something to watch, but there's something about this movie that really makes you recognize just how extremely CREEPY it is to have someone in the same room with you that you can't see. The paranoia factor in this film is off the charts, and the story is one that brings the idea and threat of having an obsessed stalker to a whole new level while you're watching it. Never has staring at an empty space in the room been so terrifying. So, I thought that this movie was very cool, and an awesome take on the original story, with a very modern twist.

One to check out when you get the chance! Enjoy! And let us know what you think! :)
