And I can relate to missing 'home', although I fully consider Scotland my adopted home now. I'm mostly happier here than I was in England. But there are a few things I miss. Like Fish & Chips.
They sell them here in Scotland too, but I miss the way they were made in Yorkshire (England).

The buses were cheaper and more regular, there, too. And in the UK we rely on buses much more than apparently you guys in the states do. So it might sound weird when I say I miss their services.

I'm used to bus services every 10 minutes being able to take me anywhere within a 50 mile radius. And the fares were a reasonable rate. Scotland's buses are more luxurious, but less common and more expensive.
At least in the four towns and villages I've lived in since 2011. Maybe it's different in large cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow.

It's been 10 years this month since I moved here. I'm settled for life now. :)
