On the back of the Palm there is a small reset button that needs to be pushed to reset. I used a paperclip that I opened up and it rebooted the Palm. It doesn;t appear that we lost any information in the reboot.

----> and if John's soft reset doesn't work, you then can try pressing the the reset button at the back whilst pressing the 'up' button. This will stop any programs currently running and get you out of a tight fix. However, it might then mean that your palm doesn't hotsync automatically when you press the hotsync button, but that's fixable too.

I have a Z31 and had this happen a few months ago.
I had to do a hard reset unfortunately. I was lucky that the next time I hotsynched, everything got loaded back onto it. What were you doing when the error appeared?

Sas
