I do use my PDA, a Palm T5 as a substituion for a laptop. I am a student, and I use the Document to Go on the PDA, along with a fold away keyboard. I go to class and type the lectures as the teacher ramble on. I also use Excel for formulas as needed. With a wifi card, you can also check your emails and browse the web.

Cheers!

I too am a student and use a clip on keypad on my 505. Works well, very convenient. Want a Tungsten TC but need to save up. I find QuickOffice is very convenient.
