I said I'd be asking for help again probably sooner than either one of us thought. My pinter has a scanner and I've scanned pictures into the computer and printed some of them with no problem. My new question, How do I scan material and then have it appear on the computer (I Microsoft, is that makes a difference) so it can be saved, e-mailed, or in the case of a form filled out? This is really three questions, but it started me thinking after I just saw Cindy G's post about the article in "Smoke" that was scanned and sent to her. No hurry, just curious.

That really depends on your scanner. They all work differently. I'll admit I've had trouble figuring out our all in one printer. My scanner scans the image (article or whatever it is) and then saves it on the scanner's software. I just open the software and all my scanned images are there (until I delete them anyway). Then, I can crop them (to get the background out) and just hit the Save As and save the image to whereever I want (usually a folder in MyDocuments). From there, it's just a matter of sending them as an email attachment. -- Sarahsue--I don't have an all-in-one machine though, it's a separate scanner but I imagine they all work pretty much the same, 08:24:48 08/01/07 Wed [1]
