Subject: My newest Epson has 6 cartridges as well. I actually prefer having more cartridges, that way when 1 color runs out I only have to change that cartridge. With the old all in 1 color cartridge, you had to change the whole cartridge when only 1 color needed to be changed. I thnik this more cost efficient.
