Subject: ooh ooh - could it be this easy


Cleaning out a kitchen drawer I found restore cds for my sons laptop -

He has an acer 5000 series with Windows XP

I have an Acer 3000 series.

the restore CDs say for 3000/5000 series issued with a new Acer Windows XP computer -


SOOOO

my question is - Can I use these to get XP on my laptop instead of Vista??

The other issue would be the other software on your laptop. That might not be the same either. I personally have never used a "restore" disc. We've always built our own computers and had our own stand alone versions of all our software.
