Subject: Lighthouse preservation

I am a Swedish journalist currently doing research for an article about lighthouse preservation in Sweden. The background is, of course, that new technology is making lighthouses redundant, at least in the traditional sense.
I am trying to find info on what lighthouse authorities in various countries around the world have done with their lighthouses? Are they being sold, dismantled, let or preserved in different ways? What are the different national policies in this regard?
I am grateful for any help. Thanks!!
