Subject: Archive film of French Lights

In the great video "Guardians of the Night" there is a short clip in B&W of boat reliefs at La Vielle and Ar Men, along with contemporary commentary by Henri Le Gal. The archive clip was filmed in the 1950s. Does anybody know more about this film (NOT "Guardians...."), and if so, is it available on DVD?
Also, a friend of mine claims he saw a show on The Discovery Channel called something like the Unfriendly Coast, again featuring a boat relief at French lights. Repeated searches have failed to find any such program. On a similar topic, anyone and everyone should check out the DVD "Storm Swept" on the Trinity House website...FANTASTIC! Many thanks.
