Subject: Mantles

I would like to say thanks to all who replied, and a special thanks to those who sent me the 35. 55. and 75mm Mantles,, needed to complete my restoration project of the HOOD burner unit.
It would appear from a lot of Emails I have received, that most of our redundant lighthouse equipment has been sold to the U.S.A. and Australia, hence the reason that WE have very little of our Heritage regarding Lighthouses etc left for our future generations to see in the U.K. If anyone has anything to sell, can we try and keep it in the U.K? one way or the other.
