Subject: Chris, are you in denial or what? There have been video and still photographs which clearly show the Iraqis shaking hands with the coaltion troops, smiling, tearing down larger than life photographs of Saddam Hussein, etc. At this very moment there are reports that Iraqi forces in Basra have been killing Iraqi citizens and that the citizens have actually turned on the Iraqi military and are uprising against the Iraqi forces in Basra. The Brits are there with tanks and other firepower and are engaging the Iraqis as well. We shall see if Basra falls.
