The new user forum is dead and not user friendly. People are not navigating to every discussion; they all want to see everything in a cascading link visible structure. Everyone is going back to DZ's site since it is now an open visible and anonymous forum. Maybe if the structure was different, people would engage.

I don't know, I am ok with it. Like anything it takes a couple of tries to get used to. Maybe it is since I am a member of a lot of these types of forums.


About the anonymous name issue -the way the way it works usually is that it when you sign up you can have what ever name you want to use, yours or a pseudo name. But the system keeps you from having 2 user names. That is the best of both worlds. You can be anonymous but you can't b e in the same conversation as 2 different people. (that bothred me about this forum -that you could be talking to 5 people or maybe the same person pretending to be 5 peolpe) So try it and good luck.

I like the fact that in the new forum you can go back and edit your messages after you post them.
