Subject: Trail workers needed - Sat. 6/23 - 9am-1pm

Hello trail volunteers,

Our next trail work day is coming up - Next Sat.- 6/23 from 9am to 1pm.

We hope for a good sized group to accomplish our goals. I have the commitment of 4 people so far.

For June 23rd, the projects we will be working on are as follows; a small experienced group is needed to do some chainsaw work to clear the larger blown down trees and limbs (I will lead this group). Some stone work is needed which includes placing flat walking stones in the muddy section of the boulder field just inside of the entrance area (flat stones are on site in this area, and need to be pried up from the edges of the trail to be put into use). Culvert clearing work remains also. This is a key project, and we could really use some help here. (bring along your teenagers....)
If time allows - We would also like to start upgrading the steep spur trail that leads to the Jones' Burial site near the peak of the mountain. This is a very interesting site with a huge glacial boulder as Mr. Jones' headstone.

If you can attend on 6/23 please send me a reply. It is always helpful to have this commitment ahead of time to gauge the work group size and the projects that can be accomplished with the group(s).
