Once a wolf has been in captivity, it can't be released in the wild (for the most part, they starve or become nuisance animals) so once you take on a wolf (or wolfdog), you won't be introducing him to the wild wolf population. Captive wolves/crosses need to stay with responsible humans, and wild wolves need to stay in the wild, IMO. Now, if you want to help captive wolves and wolfdogs, there are many in need of homes! Just look here http://www.liquinet.com/wolfdogadoption People in legal states, with proper containment, are needed to adopt or foster these animals. |
