Hi Karen from Storrs, I live in Ashford CT and I know I saw a wolf on RT190 as I was coming back from Stafford. This was a large canine, dark gray fading to almost white as you go from it's spine down to it's legs. Large tail and approx 100 lbs. I have a white german shepherd and do shepherd rescue so I know what shepherds of all colors look like and this was not a shepherd and it was also not a coyote. I have studied wolves for some time and have relatives in Maine that rescue and nurse injured wolves to be rereleased when in good shape so I have seen wolves up close and that is what I know I saw in Stafford that day.
