] Date Posted: 19:50:43 11/15/08 Sat I live in Griswold CT. Last week while I was mountain biking in the woods here I saw a family of wolves. I was in shock at first and I couldn't belive what I saw. The male was huge. At least the size of a full grown german shepard. Maybe a little bigger. The medium size one looked like it was a female because the smallest one was playfuly jumping around her. After doing some research, there is no dout in my mind that what I saw are wolves. The paw prints left in the sand were the size of my fist. When they saw me they were more frightened of me than I was of them. They ran off in two different directions. The larger male ran one way and the other two in a different direction. They looked very healthy. Their coats were georgous. They were beautiful animals. There is no dout in my mind that there are wolves in CT.
