>Hi-Im responding to your message about seeing a wolf in Rocky Hill. Last night my husband and I were driving on Newington Mountain (RTE 175) towards Wethersfield and we saw a healthy looking wolf run from one side of the mountain to the other crossing the street! We couldn't believe it. I called DEP and they told me that "there are no wolves in CT." She even asked me if it was a dog!! I know what a dog looks like and we have coyotes across the street from us in the woods-so we know what those look like as well. This was definitely a wolf!
