Any at all? In Occum,Sprague area a large blonde wolf was spotted by bunch of us, stalking a group of deer that ran by us seconds before, at first through the brush we thought it was mountain lion because of its very light amber color. As it clearedthe brush and became clearly visible, there was no doubt of what it was. There was no way it was a coyote. It was huge and heavy, and so stealthy.. This is truly something I will never forget. There are wolves in Conneticutt [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

I saw a grey wolf, or what i believe to be a grey wolf earlier today around 8pm in Middlefield, CT on whisper winds road. I was driving by my old house slowly, taking the left to continue towards the main road to head back up to hartford when i looked to the left curb of the street and saw a dog-like animal about.. 4 and a half feet tall with a long tail low to the ground and a very long, thick head trotting along, i slowed down and rolled down my windows and it stopped and stared into the headlights. I was afraid so i rolled my windows up but I'm pretty sure what I saw was a grey wolf making its way into the field across the street, and into the woods. let me know if something very lean and muscular, tall and greyish brown ish is a wolf? i know what coyotes look like, as my uncle works on helping bring injured coyotes back to health, and bringing them back into the wild Thanks so much!
