How can I get him to understand (alpha wise) that what he's doing is not acceptable?! I've bought him chew toys but he just chews everything including me! Furniture...shoes..me if I hang any over the side of the bed! What can I do?!?! I don't want to resort tophysical punishment unless its absolutly neccessary. Anyone have any ideas? Please email me! Quick!

it never ceases to amaze me that people want a Wolf or Wolfdog, and then expect it to behave like an old shoe. Puppies of all breeds chew, but Wolves and Wolfdogs have to chew as a survival and diet requirement.
Most Wolfdogs do not belong indoors, but that can change with training if you are qualified.
I highly recommend learning as much as you can as quickly as you can, because Wolfdogs grow faster than most large breeds, and mature mentally much slower. Therefore you will have a 100 lb. out of control child if not prepared.

I suggest a good evaluation of your dog first, as it seems most novice Wolfdog owners have been misled to believe the animal is more Wolf than it is.
That will determine what you can expect out of training and what to feed him as well. Also what kind of containment to expect to keep him from escape. A loose Wolfdog is a dead Wolfdog.
