[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09/11/05 Sun Snowshoe Mountain opens fund drive Snowshoe Mountain is coordinating a fundraising effort to support disaster assistance and humanitarian relief efforts in the Gulf Coast region devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Snowshoe will provide one free 2005-2006 one-day, nonholiday lift ticket to anyone who donates $25 or more through the resort now through the completion of the Blues, Brews and Barbecue event, Sept. 16-18. The public is asked to bring checks to the resort's Skidder Slope tent during the event registration. All checks should be made payable to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Effort with Hurricane Katrina designated on the check. Donations will also be accepted through the mail at P.O.
