>I feel like killing myself tonight. I would, but I don't think I haave enough pills. I am so tired of this world. I don't belong here."Life's a Bitch, then you Die".
Whenever I read postings like this I am immediately
>sad. Depressed people are some of the most caring,
>affectionate, creative, empathetic, and sympathetic
>people in the world. The problem is really we feel too
>much, too deep. And that's not really a bad thing. And
>what do we look for? LOVE as always. But often we
>mistake what we need for romantic love or sex. This
>really isn't the answer, and neither is drugs,
>cutting, suicide attempts, etc. The answer is support;
>someone who listens, cares, and helps us help
>ourselves learn how to feel better within ourselves.
>Let's be real, when we are depressed and we find a
>boyfriend or girlfriend we attach our whole selves to
>this person, and are usually disappointed. So the
>cycle continues. What I propose is a support group
>with all these wonderful people helping each other.
>And I would like to create and nurture such a project.
>Why? Well, for me it's a matter of my own life, I know
>that's what I need and would like to start. I enjoy
>helping people and that is what I do to stop myself
>from getting depressed. I am also a psych major but it
>really isn't about that, personally I had a trying
>holiday and realized that I needed to get into
>something, do something to help myself and others.
>This is not a scam, I'm not charging any money or
>anything, no I'm not some old man looking to molest
>teens, and I'm definitely not a person trying to find
>someone to have a suicide pact with. I'm 23, a female,
>and don't need to meet with anyone face to face for
>this. The internet should suffice nicely. I would like
>to help those who are looking for ways to gain and
>keep self esteem and self love. As I said I would like
>to start a support group, of positive people helping
>one another stay positive. If you are interested send
>me an email to raishawn@yahoo.com, include name or
>nickname, any suicide attempts (where, why and how),
>any official diagnoses (bipolar, post traumatic
>stress, etc.), any drug, alcohol, or self abuse
>problems, and any hobbies. For the subject just put
>"Hi Maria, I'm (you're name)". Good luck to all of you
>and I wish you the best, regardless of if you send me
>an email or not.
