Hi Natasha,
This is definitely one of the best places to learn about Shogi, just try playing any of the openings etc. or click for an online lesson.
To play Shogi on line try Shogi Club 24 Tokyo, I would be happy to play you, my userid is ramalam. You will see how to join the club in the mannual section, it is free and an excellent site.
