Subject: Well, firstly they may be "on set" for 16 hours but from what I hear there is a lot of stop and go so it is not constant work like it would be if he were an office worker or some other regular type job. Where is the Channel 5 you were talking about ? You might check the CBS website
In reply to: amanda 's message, "I dont know how MH can do 16hours a day,i have just done five consecutive 12.5hour shifts and i'm shattered,i'm amazed he looks so good. Also if anyone goes to the fanfest can you post who attends if it was in NY i would go its only a 5hour flight.Lastly i know its a shot in the dark but does anyone know when season 4 is being shown on channel 5." on 13:06:20 08/01/07 Wed

[> [> Being on set for 16-hours and working for 16-hours may or may not be synonomous. A lot depends on what's going on, who's doing what and how involved each individual is in various aspects of production. It also depends on the shooting schedule for the day. Just being at one locaiton for 16 hours can be draining, let along running around doing things. Think of it this way, your average Joe's work day involves some walking and talking. Take that and spread it out over 16 hours, including the sitting at your desk staring at nothing because your brain is fried. That's kinda what an average day can feel like on set. Most days are between 12 and 14 hours long. Some days are 16 or more. Add to that the fact that the NCIS set is out in the middle of nowhere (in relation to where most people live) and you have an incredibly long day, regardless of whether or not you were on your feet every moment or not. -- KatRose, 15:14:48 08/04/07 Sat [1]

[> [> [> Thanks for the specifics Kat. I didnt mean that it was less draining but that it couldnt be compaired to a job like construction or working in a store or a clerical position where you're on the go all day long. I'm a little older than MH and work in a very busy office and some days I feel like a yo-yo (in and out of my chair a lot) and my days are very full and run anywhere from 10-12 hours long. -- Lady C, 08:04:14 08/05/07 Sun [1]
