  I have nothing to do at work since high gas prices are effecting my job. I was sitting in my car and searching to see who is leaving the show.
  
  I dont rember which site it was, but it says, "A NCIS Agent is found by a boy, Tony and Ziva escort Jen to the funeral. So that leaves Gibbs and McGhee.
  
  I also crossed reference Sean Murry's name and in the discription listed on the page in the caption it says, "Sean Murrey is leaving NCIS."
  
  Abby was listed in another site stating she will still be on the show.
  
  Sorry for spelling, but if I have to guess it is going to be McGhee that leaves the show and he is going to be killed. I believe this, due to the fact he is starting a theater somewhere and apparently it is open for business already.
  
  Sorry I can not provide references, but it should not be hard to find if you search Sean Murrey's name, Is Sean Murrey leaving NCIS.

  • Actually it says "A former NCIS agent is found dead". I found the following on TV Buddy "Most everyone believes NCIS will become a dead stick if it turns out to be Mark Harmon. The overall sentiment seems to be that NCIS is synonymous to the handsome veteran actor.   • I thought Ziva was supposed to be an assassin for the mousad or whoever?? That didn't make sense to me that they made her all girly and wimpy and say that line " just because i'm a mousad doesn't mean i'm an assassin!" The last episode or so ( can't remember which) where Shepard was a suspect, They showed Ziva with an assasin's rifle and ready to kill La Grenouille! So was it just me or did it seem totally screwy!!?? Other than that I liked the episode.     • I'm just guessing here becase I was a little distracted while the ep was on but....maybe her assignment was to get the goods on the guy and then he would be arrested. Add that to the fact that he landed on top of her when she was forced to shoot him and had that "smurk" on his face. Also she's been living in the US for a while and let's face it, it is a much different lifestyle than she was used to in the beginning.   Loved Abby(most of the time), she was strong and proactive, instead of stay-in-the-office. Love her wheels...so fun. I like that they all disagreed, but honored Abby's opinion(like she gave them a choice, LOL). And they all worked the case from different places, and that Gibbs is treating McGee, like he treats DiNozzo & Ziva.

  • I am not a dog lover because of being bitten in the face by a German Shepard when I was young but I did enjoy the episode. I had the handler as the bad guy because of the scene where Abby had locked herself in the lab and when the handler and McGee came up to the door I figured the dog was growling at her not McGee.       • One of the lines is something like "The voices, they're tellin' me (?have faith?)" and another is " When I look into the mirror, the moon is ....(something).. at me". • MCGEE MYSTERY !!!!!!! I've been thinking since there aren't any new episodes for now and I am extremely bored, that we should start a thing I like to call " McGee Mystery!! " It's like the thing they used to do on the JAG board with the round robin thing. So this is how It should go. Anyone can start a story but they have to set their own rules to the story. I'm gonna say that this story has to go alphabetically. So for example the first Sentence has to start with an A then the next with a B a C and so on through the alphabet. Tony and McGee begin looking for Ducky unable to see where the smoke begins or ends. " Ducky!" They begin to yell as they slowly stumble through the smoke. " Ducky Where are you ? " McGee yells as loud as he can. " I'm over here lads!" A faint voice says in the distance. " I'm stuck under a pipe that has broken loose!" Ducky says straining as he tries to push the pipe from his leg. Tony kneels down to Ducky trying to aid in the removal of the pipe. " Don't move Ducky! McGee checks Capt Cartwright's pockets pulling out various objects placing them on the table in the room. Tony and Ziva subdue Capt Cartwright and tie him to a chair next to the table using cords from multiple electronic appliances stored in the room. " Do you want to tell me who you are? " Gibbs' questions Capt Cartwright while examining the various objects McGee placed on the table, his attention being drawn back and forth between the table and the corner of the room where the dead body of another apparent Capt Cartwright lays. "Well, work harder, we need something before we interrogate him!" gruffed Gibbs.   • Tony grabs the paper from Ziva's hand before she can read off the printed words."Boss, it says here that THE SHIPMENT is ready and further instructions are required in order to proceed!" You wouldn't write a cryptic message and send the decoder with it too, would you!"Gibbs' says irritated by the comment "Numbskulls!" Silence overcomes the room as Gibb's paces quietly thinking. McGee flinches as Gibb's burst out words quicker than expected,"Alright, we're leaving here! McGee grab all the contents from the table and get them ready, we're heading back home!" " But what about the suspect? I can make him talk!" Ziva says waiting, like a lion stalking it's prey. " We don't have time here. He'll come back with us." says Gibbs.   • Under strict instruction they load everything into the helo and then turn to see Gibbs escorting their suspect towards them. The flight back is quiet and uneventful but when they land, all Hell breaks loose. Black SUVs surround the helo and guns start blasting. Everyone hits the floor to take cover and avoid the bullets that are piercing the sides of the helo. All of the sudden a single bullet flies through the side and hits the suspect in the head........   • Valuing the teams lives more than ever now that the suspect is dead slumped on Gibb's lap, blood flowing on the floor of the helo , Gibbs orders the pilot," Get this thing in the air now, before we're all dead!" The Helo takes off as bullets ricochet its outer panels. As they gain altitude and reach a safe distance Gibbs says, " What the Hell is going on?!" " I was just going to ask that question!" Tony says. " Sir ?" says the pilot, " Waiting for your orders, Sir! " Knowing they are low on fuel and the helo having not been equiped with ammunition to fire back, Gibb's orders the pilot to find an alternate landing site.   • "What the hell is going on Gibbs?" the director wanted to know. "We were ambushed and our guy is dead," Gibbs told her. "You will be landing at an undisclosed ;ocation and from there you will get your instructions. I don't want to chance any leaks." As the helo landed, the team was rushed into SUV's and whisked away to meet the director. With a look of relief on her face, Director Shepard waited in the doorway until she could usher the team into her office.   • " Xanthene Dye!" Abby Blurted as she stormed through the directors office, with papers in her hand containing test results. " It was taken from the suspects clothes!" " What does that mean Abby?" Director Shepard asks. " Well, it's a special dye that creates colors ranging from flourescent yellow to pink to bluish red." " So what does it mean, Abby? " Gibbs asks with the utmost patience. " That I haven't quite figured out yet...." Gibbs begins to interupt Abby but is halted as She cuts him off. ".....BUT this type of dye was sold only from 1 manufacturer!....If that helps" " Gibbs', What would our suspect be using dye for?" Ziva asks. " Let's go find out!"   • "You aren't going to believe this," said Ducky as they entered autopsy. "What is it?' asked Gibbs. "The Xanthene dye was transfered to our man's clothes from boxes that were being transported on the USS Liberty," "Tony go find out what was in those boxes!" Gibbs barked. "Go help him McGee!" As their fingers tapped computer keys, answers were filling in the blanks. Soon they were back in autopsy and filling everyone in. " The boxes contained rocket launchers that Captain Cartwright was transporting and our man infiltrated the ship and was trying to steal them. He had a latex mask on and was fooling everyone until he entered the chow hall and came facce to face with himself." " Yes, my dear and so it should be with people who commit such heinous of crimes!" says Ducky as he looks into the eyes of the genuine Capt Cartwright's corpse with sympathy. " Areli Shacher was on our top most wanted list, not because of what he may do but because of what he has done already. He is wanted for the intricate planning of unimaginable crimes and execution of some of those plans." Explains Director Shepard. " What were those crimes, Jen?" Gibbs' asks, knowing quite well the answer she will give. " You already know this Jethro, you aren't cleared for this information. Not today; Not tomorrow !" " Well, I thought I'd give it a try, you never know!" Gibbs' says with a smirk as if to allure and provoke Director Shepard, like old times, only she and him would understand.   Has anyone heard that the actor who used to play AJ on Jag is coming to take the place of the director? I have read rumors on another board and was curious if anyone here had heard anything? After watching this week's episode, I am wondering if the director is sick since Ducky was testin blood that was suggested to be hers. I have also read that another one of the majors is leaving the show.

  OK, just one of those thoughts that pass throught one's head:
  What is the storyline behind the shot where Ducky is swinging something around his head, in the trailers/teasers/beginning stuff to the show(I forget what they are called). Everytime I see it, I wonder....HHMMM, what is he doing & why????
  
  And yes, we can come up with alot of odd scenarios for what he's doing.....like coming off a bender with a stripper, and trying out some of her moves.
  
  But what happened in that episode? Can anyone fill me in
  &
  then you all can come up with alternative suppositions!

  • I missed the episode, but I thought the Tony/Ziva angle was too over the top and in-my-face last week. Kat told me not everybody sees it that way, so I took solace, but deep inside me lurks a suspicious, seen-it-done-before-on-TV-series person. LOL I think Michael Weatherly is gorgeous and I love his smile, so I don't want the writers putting his character into a funk. I'd rather they just kept his character attached to somebody outside the office, and have his co-workers tease him, as usual. A big storm of angst is what I see coming if they pursue Tony/Ziva, the same as what happened with Harm/Mac on JAG. Unless they plan to match up Tony & Ziva as a happy crime-fighting duo, which I doubt, then I don't want the trouble.   • I liked Jeanne (perhaps I'm one of the few) and what she represented -- she's a normal girl, not a serial killer in disguise, LOL -- and what it showed Tony could be, a guy who could open up and commit. I agree, AL, that she was asking Tony to make a choice: her or NCIS, but I don't think it was because his job was dangerous, I think it was because of what it represented - the lies, both his and her father's, not to mention the personality difference between prof Tony and agent Tony. As for Ziva, I know the writers have written that there might be something romantic/sexual going on - at least from her side - but I like to think it's more about how that's *her* personality - forward about pretty much everything and how she's much more comfortable in her skin and sexuality, that it comes across as potentially romantic/lusty even if it's not. Is it against the W.G. contract to release these shows? My wife's show (Desperate Housewifes)(sp) started running their new season again today 01/06/08 and I was just wondering if we are going to get lucky and maybe NCIS will start airing again.
  
  One last question if the strike goes past (I believe)May of 2008, are they still going to show the enitre season five eps. no matter how long it takes? Or will we have to wait until what would be season six to see season five.

  hey folks - want to help me plan my halloween costume? ROTFLOL - I'm planning on going as Abby (so the opposite of me which makes for a good costume I'm thinking - and not what people expect from a librarian (now last year's Regency period dress (think Jane Austen) was just too stereotypical librarian to go along those lines again - though one of these days I do have a pattern to make the blue dress from the stage version of the Phantom of the Opera - but its well beyond my seamstress abilities at the moment)
  
  Anyway, back to the Abby costume - I've got a lab coat, I do actually own two pairs of boots that might be appropriate (I need to find more full length pics of Abby) and black clothing isn't too hard to find (for a non-goth person I own an unusual amount of black clothing... for example all three skirts I bought while outlet shopping this weekend were black, LOL!)
  
  Anyway - anyone have any really good ideas of what specifically you think I need to add to the costume to make it really really Abby? I'm searching for black wigs with pigtails online, but unfortunately the ones I've found so far are really too poofy of pigtails... but would it be Abby without pigtails?

  TV Guide: What can you say about the reports of turmoil on the set, which ended with creator Don Bellisario leaving the show?
  Michael Weatherly: I stay largely outside the politics of theshow. I learned two lessons on another show [DarkAngel, in which he costarred with — and became engagedto — Jessica Alba]: The less I say the better, and don'tdate your costar! So Mark Harmon and I have neverdated. Though the Silver Fox and I did spend a weekin Vermont that nobody knows about.
  
  TV Guide: Spoken like DiNozzo. Do you think your character's wise-guy humor is back in form this season?
  Weatherly: I guess so.The thing I like about the show is the energy behind thecharacters. On other procedural dramas, there's a veryglum, serious, dour kind of feel. I like the idea of therebeing an Alka-Seltzer in the midst of all that stuff.
  
  TV Guide: You were born Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. That's quite a mouthful.
  Weatherly: [Laughs] I did get called "Junior,"of course. Then when I begged my motherfor corrective sunglasses and wore them atnight, my father nicknamed me "Hollywood."Nobody got called "Hollywood" inConnecticut. The Connecticut I grew upin was an old-fashioned, Norman Rockwellplace. So I was excited to move on and seewhat the world had to offer. Of course, nowwhen I go back, it's so idyllic and beautiful.
  
  TV Guide: Your family is huge due to multiple marriages, right?
  Weatherly: I have one full brother, three half sisters,and then it starts getting fuzzy. I havetwo stepsisters and a stepbrother from myfather's [first] wife. My mother had kidsfrom her first marriage and got remarriedand she has three or four kids. It's sort of dysfunctionalin that Royal Tenenbaums way.
  
  TV Guide: Who were your inspirations back then?
  Weatherly: When I was 14, Ray Davies of the Kinks was my No. 1 inspiration because I loved his wry look at everything.   Weatherly: Cary Grant. I watched His Girl Friday, Bringing Up Baby, anything I could get my hands on. I loved that breezy attitude. So it was a pretty easy jump to Tom Hanks. I saw every Tom Hanks movie on opening day — which is how I came to Joe Versus the Volcano. That was the catalyst [to become an actor]. My girlfriend Betsy thought I was a lunatic to move to New York. And clearly Betsy was on the money.
  
  TV Guide: Your first real role was on Cosby?
  Weatherly: I played Theo's roommate at NYU. I was rocking a James Spader hairdo. And I had no idea what I was doing. I'm sure they almost fired me that first day. But that sense of failing made me take acting seriously.
  
  TV Guide: What's the big lesson you've learned since?
  Weatherly: I know that to be on [NCIS] right now is a huge deal. I don't underestimate it, but I also don't overinflate my own importance. And I'm happier at 39 than ever. But I also feel it's just kind of starting.
  
  TV Guide: How do you feel about turning 40 next July?
  Weatherly: I'm psyched. I was never the twentysomething who played the high-school student. I always played married men. But I think 40 is a good age — my girlfriend certainly doesn't want to go out with a 25-year-old.
  
  TV Guide: Girlfriend? Does she have a name?
  Weatherly: No. [Laughs] She's a very good thing. She's studying to be a doctor. I'm extraordinarily happy and lucky.
  
  TV Guide: So you're not the cad you play on TV?
  Weatherly: No. Over 10 years, I was in three relationships. I'm like a golden retriever. I'm a pretty loyal dog as long as I'm getting my ALPO and my water.

  Generally speaking, I think this show likes to cram alot into a limited amount of time, and I find this pace makes me tired. (And I'm no stranger to cramming stuff in, because I was a huge fan of Gilmore Girls, and all its dialogue.) I think the way its filmed, with the quick cuts here and there, is popular, but just wears me out. LOL
  
  And I'm still not a big fan of how Lauren Holly speaks her sentences. I'm not sure how to describe how it comes off to me, except that everything is said as if every word is extremely important; there's a deliberateness to every word, every sentence, every look. Nobody is like that, so I find it to be kinda fake, and I don't take the character as seriously as I might if someone else were acting the same part and saying the same lines.
  
  And I was watching this and flipping over to the Cubs game ......
  
  But, I was pleased last night. Overall I really liked the episode. And I *especially* like the new opening credits --- very, very nice.
  
  And the last scene left me with alot of questions, but not the kind you'd expect: How do you film a scene like that, if you're the actor? How do you casually float like you're dead while holding your breath and hoping your hair doesn't flop in the way? How do you stay on top of the water like that, because when I float, I sink, unless I'm kicking my feet and moving my arms? I figure you have 2 seconds, tops, to film me motionless in the water before I'm out of your view and on my way down.

I dropped my subscription when it changed formats and became a TV Guide-People magazine, with the TV times now in the same layout as the newspaper. (I *hate* the way the newspaper lists shows.) Anyway --- I wonder if it is cost effective to make a silicone figurine that looks amazingly like Armand Assante versus paying AA to do the scene, or if AA didn't want to do that, or if there is another reason why you'd use a mannequin vs. an actor. (As you can see, I have no idea how much things cost and what sort of headaches go into filming. These questions probably have glaringly obvious answers to TV film crews. (NT) -- .   Mark Harmon Steers NCIS Back On Course

  There is a dead body floating in the steel-blue waters of the Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro, California. OK, so it's not really dead, and it's not exactly a body. It's actually a glassy-eyed silicone figurine, a stand-in of sorts for one of the recurring guest stars on the CBS drama NCIS — whose services, it appears, will no longer be needed on that hit show.
  Mark Harmon, back for a fifth season as intrepid special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, is on hand to inspect the coastal crime scene. Sporting a tweed blazer and a dark shirt over a quasi-military white tee, the silver-haired actor leads baby-faced costar Sean Murray (who plays special agent Timothy McGee, aka Probie) and the sultry Cote de Pablo (former Mossad agent Ziva David) along the pier to the "corpse."
  
  When the actors break, Harmon bounds up the gangplank to dry land where he is stopped by a beefy, middle-aged man leaning on a walking stick who has been watching them rehearse. "Hey, how do you like San Pedro?" the man asks randomly. Ever the professional, Harmon answers but keeps moving. "Beautiful day," he says, flashing the kind of grin that Gibbs would only reserve for special occasions. "What's not to like?"
  
  Good question. Though it may be the kind of perfect summer day — blue skies, ocean breezes, whispering palms — that makes most people want to play hooky, Harmon is happy to be back at work. Of course, it doesn't hurt that he's returning from a nine-week hiatus to find a new sense of tranquility (dare we say, Harmon-y?) on the NCIS set. "It's very calm here," he says, kicking back among the clutter of family photos, books, backpacks and DVDs (Comes a Horseman, Cool Hand Luke) he keeps in the lovingly restored 1972 Airstream trailer that serves as his home away from home. "Right now we're averaging 12-hour days, and we have scripts, and people are organized. We used to average 16-hour days. Not that anyone's complaining about that. But having scripts is important on any show. If you don't have them, then the carpenters can't build the sets. So far, so good."
  
  It's a sentiment that seems to be shared by everyone hovering around Berth 31 at the marina. Among the NCIS cast and crew, there is a palpable sense of relief. "This season feels different because, as you know, there's been a change of administration. And I think it's been a healthy one," says David McCallum, the 73-year-old showbiz vet who plays medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard.
  
  He's referring to the tumultuous departure of NCIS creator and executive producer Don Bellisario, who steered the series through its first four seasons. In late April, TV Guide reported that Bellisario's penchant for micromanaging and delivering scripts late had added undue pressure and longer hours to the grind of production and caused a rift with the usually affable Harmon. Weeks later, it was announced that Bellisario, who was also behind such TV classics as Magnum, P.I. and Quantum Leap, would relinquish his role, leaving NCIS in the hands of longtime coexecutive producer Chas Floyd Johnson and former head writer Shane Brennan (now both executive producers). "Things are terrific [this season]," says McCallum. "We started at 7:30 this morning. Last year, we would have started at 7:30 tonight. There was always a certain degree of chaos, but it's all gone now."

  • Well, firstly they may be "on set" for 16 hours but from what I hear there is a lot of stop and go so it is not constant work like it would be if he were an office worker or some other regular type job.     • Being on set for 16-hours and working for 16-hours may or may not be synonomous. A lot depends on what's going on, who's doing what and how involved each individual is in various aspects of production. It also depends on the shooting schedule for the day. Just being at one locaiton for 16 hours can be draining, let along running around doing things. Think of it this way, your average Joe's work day involves some walking and talking. Take that and spread it out over 16 hours, including the sitting at your desk staring at nothing because your brain is fried. That's kinda what an average day can feel like on set. Most days are between 12 and 14 hours long. Some days are 16 or more. Add to that the fact that the NCIS set is out in the middle of nowhere (in relation to where most people live) and you have an incredibly long day, regardless of whether or not you were on your feet every moment or not.   (although before they let us know that CB's character's bruises were from her son and not her husband I was hollering about "what is up with this, why doesn't she ever get to play a character who is not abused" which I still sort of say, but the fact that its her son and not her husband makes it ENOUGH different though...)

• Had a glimpse at NCIS last night (season 4) trying to wait for it to air on Channel Five but temptation was to much,i was just curious as to the whereabouts of Gibbs's boat?.   • Questions about Gibbs' boat are never answered, as far as I know. I think the writers tease the audience with that boat. LOL How cool to have gone to the concert!   • We weren't that orderly when Ricky Gervase died on stage LOL. back to the boat i had visualized the final scene with the cast gatherd in Gibbs basement after cracking a case and DiNozzo uttering the words "how you going to get the boat out" and the camera turning to Gibbs for the final shoot and we see him with a huge grin on his face,and thats how it ends, it still can being he has a new boat !.   I'm finding it more and more difficult to read articles about this guy because my brain keeps interrupting. I try and pick up where I got sidetracked. I start the sentence again. My brain gets louder. I am determined to keep reading, I focus on the words, meanwhile I'm having two simultaneous conversations with myself.

  • I would have preferred no other storyline except the one involving our agents and the case of "The Frog". (The other storyline they had made me absolutely sick, sick, sick, YECH!! And I was watching with my glasses off, but anyway.........) I was glad to have it finally confirmed that The Frog is Jeanne's father, because, as you know, I have one million different scenarios running thru my head at all times. Now the buzzing has quieted down. What I'm REALLY waiting for is the NEXT episode in September!!!! I hope it focuses mostly on the team and the fallout of the identity of "The Frog".   • Which ep - Bloodbath? I think the "darker" comes partly from what we learn on Hiatus and partly from what's happened over the years on the job.
