Subject: Here's another interview with Michael Weatherly.

Go read this.

Now, then ... I want to meet this guy. (Are you listening, Kat? LOL My one and only "Hollywood" connection. LOL You know that's how I think if you, right, you photographer of the stars. ::wink::)

This interview is absolutely, hilariously the best, and I followed every crazy, random thought. I loved it. There were a couple things I have to comment on:

About syndication catching a different audience, like a Saturday at 11 pm audience, that's just not home right now on Tuesday nights to catch the show: This is very true. Most TV I watch is not prime time because I have a life, and it is extremely unusual for me to plan stuff around a TV show, unless my close friends happen to like the same show, and then we get together and watch. Most of the time I end up discovering a neat show after it's in syndication, playing after the news.

And as for younger women being the hardest demographic to crack, well, I agree. Yes, I can be just that shallow --- I'll watch a show if a cute guy is on. Like I sorta do now with DiNozzo. I admit it. Barely, but I do admit that MW being so cute makes tuning it VERY worthwhile. And what's wrong with that??? Nothing, I say!!

When he said it the show was like a dysfunctional family and mentions the grandpa in the basement with the dead bodies, "like everyone's family": I lost it. I laughed because right now my dad is working in the basement, digging around and knocking down a wall and a cistern (old house alert) and we've jokingly started to say "He's down in Panama" whenever people wonder where he's at. Get it? (If you don't get it, in the movie "Arsenic And Old Lace" with Cary Grant, there was a crazy uncle who thought he was Theodore Roosevelt & he buried dead bodies in the basement, which he thought was Panama. Rest assured we have no dead bodies down there, we are a completely normal family with a sense of humor. )

And he mentions Count Chocula. Count Chocoula. I mean, that just cinched it. What a hoot! We weren't allowed to eat sugared cereals as a kid, except on once in a while, and the only reason I ever tried this one was because I loved the Count, (I actually didn't like the cereal at all) because I also liked the Count on Sesame Street --and also Kermit's new reporter and everybody on the Muppet Show, which is highly underrated in my opinion -- I mean, why wouldn't everybody love the Count? (Count Chocula and The Count) --- they had the neat accent thing and a cape. I also liked Zorro (Tyrone Power) because of the cape, and the Phantom of the Opera, and well, just about any suave, extremely handsome, slightly mysterious English gentlemen of the regency period if they wore a cape ... well, anyway I love the Count Chocula reference and, I guess I really like capes, huh. (Unless you're a super hero, when Edna Mode accurately points out the flaws of having a cape -- No capes!!)

Anyway, wasn't this just the best interview ever? Ever? Hmm??? LOL

[> Great article. MH is adorable and goofy and sexy and ... ::heavy sigh:: -- KatRose, 10:29:35 03/01/07 Thu [1]

[> [> HEY! Wait a minute! No heavy sighing. No, no. *I* get to heavy sigh. Just me. If we both heavy sigh, who's going to be the rational one? I get to heavy sigh!! ............ come INSIDE ..... If this doesn't break the board, nothing will -- AmyLynn, 12:03:52 03/01/07 Thu [1]

I go back and forth with what my reaction would be if I actually met him.

There's the Wow, understated and obvious .... the Faint which works in conjunction with the Tripping Fool and Accident-Prone Tourist for this result (can you hear me? I'm saying, "Ok, I'm okay. Really. I'm just fine") .... let's not forget the Stammering Idiot aka the Brain Meltdown where I forget who I am ... the Shy Starer .... and then there's the Giggler ... the Babbling Talker .... the Trying To Act Suave ...
the Gawker .... Do you think he'll be impressed if I show him my purse-size duct tape? Or all my lenses? Will he run the other way if I did this first?

It's just so hard to tell what would happen.

[> [> [> So, the fact that I have this:

on my cell phone doesn't count in the heavy sighing world? ;-)

[> [> [> [> AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I want this. I want this. I WANT this!!!!! .....However .... I have no idea how to get it, copy it, download it to my cell phone, or anything. You realize I'm technologically impaired, right? Help me. Help me. Oh WOWOWOW. What a great shot, you great photographer, you. Ok, it counts for heavy sighing. Rats. I still don't plan on being the rational one, though. We can BOTH be dreamy sighing. He'll have to handle it. LOL -- AmyLynn, 09:35:23 03/02/07 Fri [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> Oh yeah.... and what wonderful memories that holds. I was hoping to catch up with Michael while he's here but he's not coming to Adelaide - oh well, maybe next time LOL! He was great on the Logies - if the dvd recording has worked, I will try and capture his parts - he was at his best! One of the things that was good is that he asked for tapes of the shows that he was going to present the awards for - no other International guest has ever done that - just shows what sort of bloke Michael is. -- Helen, 16:47:01 05/09/07 Wed [1]

[> Michael Weatherly -- amanda, 04:38:31 03/04/07 Sun [1]

Ok we all know AmyLynn wants to meet MW i think i may have a plan,i have just read that Michael Jackson, who is in Japan,is letting his fans pay 3,500 dollars (£1,793)a ticket to spend 30 seconds with him, well iam thinking we could all chip in and pay for AmyLynn to meet MW,i dont know how much he will cost and AmyLynn would have to talk fast real fast, but i dont think that would be a problem. There is just one snag,we dont know how to get hold of him, lets hope he's into Voyforums.LOL.

[Edit]

[> [> Yes, yes, yes. Thank you, thank you ALL so much. I'll be practicing my speed talking and promise to mention all of you, you wonderful, wonderful, people, when I meet him. (What was that, you all want to come, too?) Now, when is this again? I didn't quite catch the date. What? It was just an idea? It's not really happening??? ACK!!! Oh well, it's the thought that counts. Thanks, Amanda!!! ..... I guess I should have known that the cost would be prohibitive. I mean, honestly! I can just see you guys giving me thousands of dollars just to watch me spend it on 30 seconds of talking and taking pictures. (I wonder if footage costs extra?) Hey, Kat, was this your reaction? I admit I myself was torn between this and "Yes!" -- AmyLynn, thinking this idea of "letting" people pay to talk to ME sounds like a great way to make some extra cash. (Is this money considered income or a gift? LOL) Who wants to be first? ROTFLOL, 07:03:20 03/05/07 Mon [1]

[> MW -- amanda, 12:31:43 03/05/07 Mon [1]

[Edit]

[> [> (1) Pauley discontinued writing her blog and I believe she took down everything that was on that site. Therefore, Kat removed the link. Also, she wasn't updating the CBS Blog either, so that link was removed as well. (2) So that sound was you? (3) I like your confidence, and I'm sure that if I ever meet him, that will result in some sort of cosmic shift. LOL -- AmyLynn, 12:46:03 03/05/07 Mon [1]

[Edit]

[> [> Pauley hasn't updated the CBS blog since July 2006, and with the removal of her personal blog, I figured I should take them both down. -- KatRose, 13:53:33 03/05/07 Mon [1]

[Edit]

[> [> [> I'd probably *break* his arms and take down half the set. LOL ..... PS: You can type your message where it says "Message Subject' and then we don't have to go inside to read it. Did that make sense? -- AmyLynn, 08:17:31 03/06/07 Tue [1]

[Edit]

[> [> [> [> yes that made sense thanks for the tip -- amanda, 08:39:54 03/06/07 Tue [1]
