If anyone cam rememder season3 i could do with some help,i dont understand Gibbs he tamperd with evidence,and also acted as judge jury and to some extent executioner,i understant why he did it but the ease of which it was done,there was no remorse just a smirk look,is he really that callous. I know it's a show, but if I had been at that hospital desk, I would have called security early on. First off, that creep was obviviously abusing the woman/girl, then there's the whole drug user problem, then he threaten both DiNozzo & the doctor! Why were'nt bells weren't going off in the staff's heads..... Does this happen regularly in hospitals? Are they so numb to this type of stuff that they ignore the warning signs & pray it's gonna be ok? What was DiNozzo thinking? He is an professional, supposedly. He should have had them call security, after the elevator incident, for no other reason, then to get that girl help.
And should security be a little more pro-active, they should have beaten DiNozzo & the doctor down to the morgue & should'nt there be protocol for the doctor to let them know there is problems, like a special 'doctor in trouble' code??? I know I'm ovethinking a good show, but these thoughts just kept popping up through out the show.

- I don't think the docs were blase about the drug use, but as Jeanne pointed out, they're more concerned with the health and welfare of their patients than policing the drug use. That's not to say no one should have paid more attention to the visitors' behaviour and had security standing by to help out. As for Tony's actions, he's not a cop in Jeanne's eyes, he's supposedly a professor. So the fact that he knew so much about drugs and couriers could have tipped her off to something being wrong with their relationship (i.e. a crapload of lies). I thought from the security officer's voice on the phone that Jeanne's badge number *was* a code of some kind, but I guess that was just a hope. The final scene wasn't as surprising as I think it was meant to be. We'd already been discussing the possibility that Jeanne was The Frog's daughter and why Tony wasn't sure sleeping with her was a good idea. Now we know why he talked to the Director about it. - Things like that do happen,a few weeks ago a nurse was raped after a dodgy man was seen,security did a lock down but unfortunately they locked him in as well,we all have a pass that can open locked doors,thats how he got out.As for a trouble code A&E staff have a security alarm that only works within the A&E department.Have not seen this episode still showing season3 but it sounds like its true to life.Does season3 end with a WOW factor and thinking ahead to season5 i hope Tony doesn't grow up to much him and Ziva are brilliant as they are. I am not sure if this info has made it to this board yet but I thought I would pass this along:

The tense NCIS standoff between Mark Harmon and Don Bellisario that I first told you about two weeks ago has ended as dramatically as it began: Sources confirm that the veteran producer has agreed to step down as showrunner, effective immediately.

I hear he'll likely be replaced by co-executive producer (and longtime Bellisario collaborator) Chas. Floyd Johnson and headwiter Shane Brennan.

As NCIS' creator, Bellisario will still retain his executive producer title (much like AS-P did on Gilmore Girls), but he is no longer in charge of the show. He's not leaving CBS, however. (Lucky them!) He'll develop two new projects as part of his overall deal with the network.

As I reported, insiders say Harmon has been frustrated for some time with the long hours that resulted from Bellisario's "chaotic management style." And in mid-April, things came to a boil.

"Mark's been working every single day, 16 hours a day," the mole told me. "Don tries to micro-manage everything. Script pages get faxed to the set at the last minute, and Mark is tired of dealing with the huge impact that makes on his life."

Shortly after my original story ran, an NCIS insider sent me this cryptic message via e-mail: "The situation over at NCIS? It's much worse than you think."

That much is now obvious.

So, what do you guys think? Did the right man step down? Based on the results of this poll, I'm guessing your answer is, "Hell, yeah!"

  - Kat, after reading the article last week about DPB, posted at Backstage Online, I'm not surprised DPB is going to spend more time developing all those ideas he's got! Without being tied to NCIS, he's got the time he needs and probably a more flexible work schedule. As for all the "tensions" behind the scenes, that could be true or false, and if true, better for all to have a little breathing room before people begin to hate each other. - I think this is being just a tick overdramatized. Is DB a difficult man to work for? From what I've heard/read, yes. He can be extremely difficult. But this isn't something new...he developed two shows during JAG's run (First Monday & NCIS) & stepped away from JAG twice & let other people run the show so to speak, so I really don't think it will make any noticeable difference to the fans. To the actors probably, but if its for the best then go for it. I think its interesting that he's got some other ideas floating around, & Moonves at CBS apparently has a lot of faith in DB...regardless of what some of the fans think of DB. Will DiNozze's trails on NCIS this season finally force the irrepressible prankster to grow up?

Michael Weatherly says:

This was definitely the season that saw a change in DiNozzo. It's a result of his attempt at being team leader at the beginning of the year (when Mark Harmon's Jethro Gibbs temporarily retired) and not quite measuring up. He knew he had to dig deeper and find the man inside the man-child. And what do we get? A Tony DiNozzo that cries and says "I love you" to his girlfriend, Jeanne!

But it took 24 episodes this year to finally blow everything up. After the finale Tony will be radically changed. The question is will he be able to live with himself? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, according to Friedrich Nietzsche. The important thing to remember is Nietzsche [had been] in a mental institution. In other words, next season, I expect Tony to discover the profound depths of his own existence.

He speaks well to the press and can be pleasantly neutral. For example, when asked about former fiance Jessica Alba, he always has a nice sentence, full of praise for her. That is well-done, no matter what the real story is. (Who's business is that, anyway? Not ours!) When asked about the Bellisario/Harmon incident, he's equally gracious without putting in his two cents or getting in the middle.

Of course, I remember his last line best. LOL

I find it difficult to be happy
when I see Matt Lauer get read for his
"Where In The World Is Matt Lauer?" series,
because *I* want to be the one doing the traveling ...

So as I read this article, I was trying to be happy
and excited and cheerful and say,

but really ..... really I'm a bit jealous.

I take pictures. I can travel as the photographer.
I can power tour a city. I can be the travel arranger.
I can drive. I can be the driver.
(Honestly, I bet I could have driven MW from place to place in record time. He might have arrived with a bit of extra adrenaline in his system, but no worse for wear.)

Now, then ... I want to meet this guy. (Are you listening, Kat? LOL My one and only "Hollywood" connection. LOL You know that's how I think if you, right, you photographer of the stars. ::wink::)

This interview is absolutely, hilariously the best, and I followed every crazy, random thought. I loved it. There were a couple things I have to comment on:

About syndication catching a different audience, like a Saturday at 11 pm audience, that's just not home right now on Tuesday nights to catch the show: This is very true. Most TV I watch is not prime time because I have a life, and it is extremely unusual for me to plan stuff around a TV show, unless my close friends happen to like the same show, and then we get together and watch. Most of the time I end up discovering a neat show after it's in syndication, playing after the news.

And as for younger women being the hardest demographic to crack, well, I agree. Yes, I can be just that shallow --- I'll watch a show if a cute guy is on. Like I sorta do now with DiNozzo. I admit it. Barely, but I do admit that MW being so cute makes tuning it VERY worthwhile. And what's wrong with that??? Nothing, I say!!

When he said it the show was like a dysfunctional family and mentions the grandpa in the basement with the dead bodies, "like everyone's family": I lost it. I laughed because right now my dad is working in the basement, digging around and knocking down a wall and a cistern (old house alert) and we've jokingly started to say "He's down in Panama" whenever people wonder where he's at. Get it? (If you don't get it, in the movie "Arsenic And Old Lace" with Cary Grant, there was a crazy uncle who thought he was Theodore Roosevelt & he buried dead bodies in the basement, which he thought was Panama. Rest assured we have no dead bodies down there, we are a completely normal family with a sense of humor. )

And he mentions Count Chocula. Count Chocoula. I mean, that just cinched it. What a hoot! We weren't allowed to eat sugared cereals as a kid, except on once in a while, and the only reason I ever tried this one was because I loved the Count, (I actually didn't like the cereal at all) because I also liked the Count on Sesame Street --and also Kermit's new reporter and everybody on the Muppet Show, which is highly underrated in my opinion -- I mean, why wouldn't everybody love the Count? (Count Chocula and The Count) --- they had the neat accent thing and a cape. I also liked Zorro (Tyrone Power) because of the cape, and the Phantom of the Opera, and well, just about any suave, extremely handsome, slightly mysterious English gentlemen of the regency period if they wore a cape ... well, anyway I love the Count Chocula reference and, I guess I really like capes, huh. (Unless you're a super hero, when Edna Mode accurately points out the flaws of having a cape -- No capes!!)

Anyway, wasn't this just the best interview ever? Ever? Hmm??? LOL

        There is that. LOL For me, I think a lot of my frustration also comes from the fact I like this show and don't want to find out it's having difficulties behind the scenes. What if Jeanne is the Frog's daughter, but doesn't know it. Like, maybe she's adopted.

**...Could Shepard be Jeanne's real mom? Is she old enough? When did Shepard meet the Frog? Do the age and the timing work?

**...Or perhaps Jeanne's mom IS her real mom. Then she could either be nice, or she could have had one of those secret lives that writer's like to surprise us with, like perhaps she was involved with the Frog.

Perhaps the CIA guy gave the intel to Shepard that the Frog has a daughter.

Perhaps it's the Frog who's been keeping track of his daughter by having someone take pictures of her and Tony. The Frog would know exactly who Tony is, that Tony is NCIS, and suspect Shepard's maneuvering in this relationship his daughter is in. .............OR.............If Jeanne is NOT the Frog's daughter, he could be spying on Jeanne because he knows Jeanne is *Shepard's* daughter. Either way, the info on Jeanne is useful to him.

We don't know exactly how Tony and Jeanne met, but if it was "arranged" in any way, perhaps it was by Shepard. This works for Shepard: If it IS her daughter, Tony is able to look out for her, even if he doesn't know what's going on, and Shepard can stay "in the loop" of what's going on in Jeanne's life. If it's NOT her daughter, then Shepard put Tony onto Jeanne so Shepard could keep a finger on the Frog's daughter. And the personal part of this for Shepard is whatever the Frog did to Shepard's father. (This is a sentence at SpoilerFix: "Shepard is in Russia, meeting a General who was an adversary of her father.")

This is a lot of speculation when so many things are unknown: Like who everybody really is and if they *know* who they really are.

Ok, so the next episode is "In the Dark" which airs tomorrow. The episode after that that airs next week is called "Trojan Horse" This is what the episode guide says about it: When Jenny has to attend an overseas conference, Gibbs is made acting director, but he prefers to ignore his duties and lead the investigation of the murder of a woman, who was found dead in a taxi headed to the NCIS headquarters. Ok, here's the creepy part. In the dictionary, Trojan Horse is defined as: in Greek legend, a huge hollow, wooden horse, with Greek soldiers hiding inside, that is left at the gates of Troy during the Trojan War: after the Trojans, who think it is a gift, bring the horse into their city, the hidden Greeks creep out and open the gates for the rest of the army, which enter and destroys Troy. The Trojan War (for a little bit of background info) was a war fought by the Greeks against Troy to get back Helen who had been kidnapped by a prince of Troy. Wow. That is really creepy. I'm beginning to think that Heather's reply to Kat Rose's "Last's nights ep" (posted 4/25/07) might be true.

What did everyone think of the ep?

Any guesses on what's up Shep's backside regarding "The Frog"? Is is a romance going very bad? Did she get conned by him and then found him out? Does she have a love child that she's hiding from him and the world?

What about Tony's meeting with Jeanne's mama? I cracked up as his discomfort because she was incredibly direct and nosy about his relationship with Jeanne and what it means to him as well as her daughter's future.

I'm liking the more mature McGee. He's no longer the bumbling newbie that's so eager to help out that he's like a labrador puppy unable to keep his feet underneath him. Now he's a man who knows what he can do, what his limitations are, and how far he can go to push himself and his coworkers to get the job done. But at the same time remaining that slightly overgrown labrador who loves being around his friends and wants to be a part of the group.

All in all, not a bad ep, but one that leaves more questions than a typical "Lost" episode. LOL

I have had trouble keeping up with this season. I have a DVR, but with so many reruns this year I have found it is hard to keep up with the story line. Who is Frog and where did Ducky's assistant go. Ducky's assistant, Palmer, is a recurring character so he doesn't appear in every episode. Sometimes we see him, sometimes we get references to him and sometimes he's just not acknowledged at all. "The team's biggest secret is revealed." This sentence is our spoiler from TV Guide for the last episode. So let's speculate on the what we think it means. Let's speculate on the entire FROG story and where we think everybody fits in.

Just what IS the team's biggest secret?
Who was taking pictures of Tony and Jeanne?
Who was transferring them, and to whom?

I think the storyline involving "The Frog" will lead to "the team's biggest secret", and only because we see people spying on Jeanne and/or Tony do I have any reason to connect the two situations together. Does this seem a correct assumption? If so, then we need to know the history of how Jeanne and Tony began.

I happened to find a taped copy of the episode where Tony talks to Jenny about getting more involved with Jeanne. My first impression is that Tony went to her for advice because, as he says, Gibbs' record with women wasn't that great. Then I read that others thought he went to Jenny because there was more going on with who Jeanne was, and he was feeling her out on how involved to get with Jeanne. After I reviewed this scene several times, I'm sticking with my first impression. It was this episode that saw Jenny having a girl-talk with Abby about her new boyfriend, which seemed a bit out of Jenny's character, and then we see Tony seek out Jenny for a chat of the same type -- about a relationship. I figure this episode gave us a different side of Jenny, a more personal one, letting us see her as more than just the boss. If there is more to what Jenny knows about Jeanne, then I think it's supposed to blind-side us later. I didn't pick up on anything overt in this scene, as some others did.

Are we sure "The Frog" is Jeanne's father, or in some way involved with Jeanne? And if he's Jeanne's father (or grandfather or uncle), does she know what HE is? Is she involved in the same shady work? Is she just a nice girl? (Could Jenny be Jeanne's real mother, or is that just too far out there?)

We know Jenny tapped Tony to do some undercover work on what seems like her personal mission to get "The Frog". If there IS a connection between "The Frog" and Jeanne, my conclusion is that it is beyond coincidental that Tony just happened to meet her and fall in love. Somebody put him in her way and knowing how they met in the first place would help direct my speculation. Jenny could have set the situation up, if Jeanne is not who she appears to be, then she could have set it up .... see where I'm going?

And does anybody find Jeanne's previous boyfriend's death just a bit much? What are the odds he'd be in law enforcement, like Tony? And was he really "stalking" her, not wanting the relationship to end, or was there more? If she's NOT the girl we think, was she seeing BOTH Tony and what's-his-name, and when the other guy wasn't useful, he was erased? If she IS a nice girl, did "The Frog" arrange anything, or was it truly a coincidence that Tony would have met the guy and the other guy died?

As for who was transferring-viewing the pictures of Tony and Jeanne, we have options:

1. Jenny --- except her hair is shorter than what we saw, and not the right color
2. Ziva --- except her hair is darker than what we saw
3. Jeanne --- except many felt the profile wasn't quite right
4. Col Mann --- perhaps when Jenny asked her to stay behind for a drink, they weren't talking about Jethro like we had the impression, but Jenny asked her for some help, like she did with Tony
5. Somebody above wearing a wig (although, why wear a wig in the privacy of your own home, which is where I assume they were using their computer)
6. Somebody we don't know at all (but wouldn't it be more shocking for it to be somebody we do know and don't suspect?)
7. A man, like "The Frog" ---

And, of course, WHY and to WHOM were they transferring them?

We have this nice, wonderful scene of Tony finally telling Jeanne he loves her. And a big part of me thinks that Jeanne doesn't have a clue about the existence of THE FROG, even if it is revealed that he's her dad (I keep going back to that), and that this relationship is real for both of them ... and that leads to the simple conclusion that perhaps the pictures and the spying has nothing to do with Jeanne, and everything to do with Tony and whatever HE was involved in for Jenny, or for some other reason not related to "The Frog" at all.

My mind has run amok. I think I've over-thought and over-complicated this because we've been deliberately given crumbs, leaving so much room for speculation on the whole picture.

- I still think Jeanne's somehow involved with "the case" that Jenny put Tony on. Otherwise why would he tell her he'd been holding back from sleeping with Jeanne? The comment I remember was something along the lines of "I want to sleep with Jeanne, but I don't think I should." and Jenny's response was "It's okay if you do, just be careful." If this wasn't a relationship that started off as a case, why not share who Jeanne is with his co-workers, even in a simple, "I'm seeing someone, now shut up about it." I was both impressed and underwhelmed by last night's episode. I was happy to see Cassidy back and Tony growing up, but, at least to me, there seemed to be a lot of inconsistencies in the sets, set dressings and follow-through.

Inconsistencies:
* If the store front was being used as a center for peace, why were there no tables, desks or chairs?
* When a bomb goes off, is it normal for its blast radius to be contained by common walls in a series of store fronts?
* Why would a hidden door - that springs back suddenly - swing both ways?

Beyond that, I really liked seeing Cassidy again. I liked her character and was happy to see her back. So I was sad to see her dead at the end, but at least she died trying to save the lives of her colleagues and the religious leaders. That was very much in her character.

Tony's emotional growth is almost complete. The fact that he could tell Cassidy that he loved Jeanne isn't something he could have done even a few short months ago. I loved that when he chose to go to Jeanne's apartment it was not only with words on his lips, but tears in his eyes and love in his heart. There is a man that has grown up and taken responsibility for who he is and who he will become.

Other than that, it was an interesting - and at least from my perspective - respectful of the Muslim people and their belief that peace is as important as religion. It saw Gibbs and company asking questions, but not accusing the men based solely on their religious beliefs or their attachment to the "suicide bomber." That's a switch for a lot of shows/stories.

Overall, not a bad ep. I'm still curious to find out what case Tony's been working on that involves Jeanne, but that, hopefully, will be answered before the season ends.

He later said he "didn't want to hurt" Jeanne, and she told him he needed to figure out what he wanted from their relationship because *she* did love *him*. (3) Was the female face at the end of the episode Jeanne's or Shepherd's? I know we purposely didn't get to see the entire face, and I really didn't have time to focus. The lips made me think, "Oh! I thought this was interesting. According to the official NCIS website (the organization, not the show), agents have to retire from the field at the age of 55. Mark Harmon turned 55 in 2006, the same year Hiatus aired and his character, Gibbs, retired.

I don't know if that was deliberate or just a fun coincidence, but isn't that neat?

My website is temporarily (I hope) under suspension for who-knows-what. I got an e-mail from my web hoster saying that I've had inconsistent e-mails coming from my account (i.e. spam) and that there may be a problem with php scripting. Until it's resolved, my site's down.

The twist? They've cut me off from my site completely, even the command console, which is where they told me to fix the problem!! I put in a call to the host and asked for help and got a very nice lady that said, "Thank you for calling. I'll put in a ticket for you. They should get back to you within 24 hours, but it probably won't be via phone."

Anyway, that means all backgrounds, photos, emoticons, etc are unusable for the foreseeable future. As soon as things get back to "normal", I'll get everything back up.

  - What I've Learned From TV: If a main TV show character likes somebody, or somebody likes them, or they fall in love, then that person (not the main TV show character) will die, or leave town, or change their mind, or be a serial killer.
