Subject: Halloween Costume....

hey folks - want to help me plan my halloween costume? ROTFLOL - I'm planning on going as Abby (so the opposite of me which makes for a good costume I'm thinking - and not what people expect from a librarian (now last year's Regency period dress (think Jane Austen) was just too stereotypical librarian to go along those lines again - though one of these days I do have a pattern to make the blue dress from the stage version of the Phantom of the Opera - but its well beyond my seamstress abilities at the moment)

Anyway, back to the Abby costume - I've got a lab coat, I do actually own two pairs of boots that might be appropriate (I need to find more full length pics of Abby) and black clothing isn't too hard to find (for a non-goth person I own an unusual amount of black clothing... for example all three skirts I bought while outlet shopping this weekend were black, LOL!)

Anyway - anyone have any really good ideas of what specifically you think I need to add to the costume to make it really really Abby? I'm searching for black wigs with pigtails online, but unfortunately the ones I've found so far are really too poofy of pigtails... but would it be Abby without pigtails?

u deffinetly need pigtails but why not dye your hair temporarily and do it that way. I agree with whoever said about the temporary tats. And will the people at this party know who you are?

[> Since the original date of this post is 9/4/2007 I was wondering if the costume worked out? I was surprised that it had come up to the top of the board all of the sudden. At least we have something to post about right now. LOL -- shippermom, 15:31:52 01/03/08 Thu [1]
