Subject: NCIS came on a couple of years before JAG ended. The stories on JAG seemed to have run their course. Maybe, there could have been another season or maybe not.. Now it's NCIS's turn to be the "big brother" of the new show, The overall "franchise" of these shows has been very profitable for the PTB and adding the new show is like adding a new variety of goods in the supermarket. I have not seen anything about Mark Harmon or his character leaving the show, as a matter of fact I have seen his name in the credits as executive producer. At this time of year we are all left wondering what will become of the folks we have come to view as a sort of friend, not just on NCIS but on any of the shows that have had season finale's that were cliffhangers which were intended to keep us guessing until the new season starts up.
