Subject: I think you're right that Gibbs' nightmare was supposed to be prescient (in terms of the NCIS world); for me, at least, it's the only way it explains Ari's weird transformation from this sort of Machiavellian, suave spy to a guy who's got a daddy vendetta. Within the NCIS fictional canon world, it totally works. But the original question seemed to be asking if SA had wanted out before the end of Season 1, and that "Reveille" and "Twilight" were done in tandem (to give a season-long Kate exit) rather than "Twilight" drawing on "Reveille". But I may have read the post wrong.
