Fallen Comrade of the Irish Republican Socialist Movement

Anthony Dornan
Died on 16 April 1999

Brother-in-law of noted republican socialist activist Joe McCann,
Anthony Dornan was one of the founders of the Irish Republican
Socialist Party and the Irish National Liberation Army, serving as
chief of staff of the INLA at one point. He battled cancer for some
time, finally succumbing to it in Cork City.

A memorial to Dornan and other comrades was dedicated in the Lower
Falls area of West Belfast on 10 April 2003.
