Dear all,

Whatever the time-share companies claims, tell them to write it down and sign against it. If they dare not, then do not commit to anything. We need to know our rights as a consumer. Do read up on the fair trading act.

Even when my insurance agent claimed about all the benefits of the policy, I will ask her to write everything down and file it together with my policy.

We need to be informed consumers. If not, we will be conned.

I totally agree with you. Without writing down what was discussed, it also means that we have difficulty fighting back if we discover misrepresentation later on.

Better still, bring along a voice recorder (prefarably a digital one that can record anything for more than 2 hrs. That will be your evidence on misrepresentation. What u are presented and what u sign for may not be one and the same. How to prove u have been misrepresented?
