Subject: Texas Caudill descendants of Benjamin E Caudill

Benjamin E. Caudill was my GG Grandfather. My G Grandfather was his eldest son, John Asbury Caudill Sr. He married Alice Reaves and they had 3 sons. She died and John took his 2 oldest sons (Fred and Oscar) to Palo Pinto county Texas. The youngest, Rufus, was left in Kentucky and supposedly raised by Ben E. Caudill wife's family. John remarried and had 7 children, one of whom was John Asbury Jr., who was my Grandfather. According to family family word of mouth history, John Sr., before his death in 1912, had a grave marker placed on Benjamin E. Caudill's and Martha L.'s Slate Hill graves. According to my Dad, he said the stone had the name Yadon on it and thought it was Ben's wife maiden name. It also had her family listed on one side as well as Ben and Martha's children on the other. Can anyone tell me what the connection is between Caudill, Asbury, and Yadon? Was Ben's wife family Yadon or Asbury? Thanks
