My family traces back to Ben E. via John Ashbury Caudill (Ben's oldest son). He married Alice Reaves and had 3 sons (Oscar, Fred, and Rufus). She died and John took his oldest sons, Fred and Oscar, from Kentucky to Palo Pinto Texas after her death. Oscar married Callie McAdams. Oscar, Callie, and Fred moved to New Mexico. According to my father, Joe Caudill, they were back in Texas when my Dad's Grandmother died in 1924. They went back to Pie Town, New Mexico and died there.
