Subject: Ancestor in Caudill's Army??

Hello. We have reenacted at Leatherwood several times (Union) and met many people associated with your group. We don't know exactly who to direct this question to, but we were wondering if anyone in the group has information on those who served in Caudill's Army during the war. We have an ancestor from Letcher or Knott county who supposedly served. His name would have been William B. Smith. We just wondered if anyone might have any information about this. If so, we would really appreciate the help. Thank you very much.
