Subject: Mrs. Goldstein-Kindergarten Teacher

I would love to get a message to Mrs. Goldstein the Kindergarten teacher from P.S. 272.
She was one of those special teacher's who "touch lives "
that it stays with you forever. I had her in 1961. I was a helper in her classroom in 1967, when I was in 6th grade.
I teach Pre- school now and it's because she had a great influence on my life
I remember her sitting at the Piano singing
Clean up time, Clean up time
Everyone helps at Cleanup time ...
I now use that little tune in my classes
If she can read or know of this message, I just want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart
Elyse

I still remember that song too! She was an awesome teacer to be remembered so clearly by all of her students. I hope you can be a great influence on your students lives like Mrs. Goldstein was on ours!

The last I heard was that Mrs. Goldstein was alive and just over 80. someone had written that they had seen her at a Bar Mitzvah and that was last year.

That "clean up song" sent every neuron in my brain firing with joy...I've taught it to every child (including my own 3) that I've ever been in contact with!!! I didn't remember it was Mrs. Goldsteing who 'penned' it...very very cool.
