Subject: Classmates
So all day, I've been thinking about 272 and I wondered if I could remember all the names of the kids in class from K-6. It wasn't too hard considering we all stayed together for all those years. Here's what I came up with off the top of my head. (If you're on the list, feel free to say hi. If you're not on the list put yourself on there, and sorry for leaving you out.)
Michael Brandman - Always my brother!
Brian Cherry - I think secretly, I wanted to be him.
Russell Freidberg - Mr. Sweatpants
Michelle Getlin
Julie Lamb - My 272 crush, but I was mean to her in JHS.
Pamela Goldstein
Natasha Cook - The only black person in our class. I don't know how they managed to only have one black person in the "gifted" program for 7 years. A lot of us didn't deserve to be there for one year.
Sarita Waba
Deidre Lopez - I think she was the first to get boobs.
Shawn Richelson - I slept at his house once, and his mom went totally ballistic on his little brother for bothering us. I felt bad because she gave him a pretty good beating.
Heather Goldberg
Karen Macklin
Nick Fortunato - We had some good times in Albany.
Richie Weiner - I wonder why we never realized his name was Dick Weiner.
Brandon Amchin aka Erwin Beez
Jennifer Barberio - I punched her in the face on a bus trip to the Planetarium. Sorry!
Brian Pitti - The other guy from the projects. ("I'm Nut Barry")
Erik Turk - "My father works in Radio Shack. Where does your father work, the sewer?"
Jason Morris - We'd compete to see who drew the best ninja scenes and sell them.
Andy Feller - I bet he's a lawyer or something. Good guy.
Laurie Weisenfeld - Andy's cousin. I think she moved to Hawthorne or something.
David Skylar - Completely insane… liked to stab people with pencils n stuff.
Robert Leonardo - Short timer with a bowl hair cut.
A girl named Michael
Joshua Sacco - Never really part of the gang. Sorry dude.

No Friggin way!!! I tried googling a name or two from our class just for fun and I found you guys!! Very close on my name--it's SALZBERG, not Goldberg, but hey you got the jewish part right ;)
Your descriptions are right on, as I remember everyone. As for you, Eric, I remember you and I going to punch one another one day after school and our fists collided. We laughed and laughed. And Brian Cherry never like me..though secretly I always thought he was cool too...
Karen Macklin (the other short one) and I are still very close. I seem to have lost the rest of you when I moved to NJ after 4th grade (Mrs. Krueger)...

I had this weird dream about our class and actually Heather, you were in it! I guess I must be getting nostalgic or something. Hope we can all get in touch one day soon.
