Actually we announced the negotiations for that property before the newspapers did, and we asked the same questions you are now asking.

My answer, by the way, as to why the Sabolik property is half the price of the Phillips Pharm, and twice the acerage is that, the Land Trust is spending private money. They don't have tax authority, and must get the money before they can spend it. The OSPC on the other hand has their hands in our pockets and they don't really care what something costs. If they want it, they buy it, and take the matter to town meeting where they stack the deck.The Phillips Pharm Phiasco, however, is going to referendum, so we have a real chance to stop it.
